Gravity Falls has also been under-served in terms of available merchandise for years. Seems like Disney's marketing department doesn't have much faith in the show's profitability. They won't take a gamble on physical releases because that market is in a slump, and production costs for decent box sets are pretty high. They won't even produce a premium limited collectors edition, even though Alex personally has lobbied for one for years.

People talk like Disney's massive value as a company means they can and will always treat their properties well, but in doing so they're forgetting exactly how Disney makes and keeps that much money in the first place. Namely, by being penny-pinching, risk averse misers in their day to day operations. All the vision is in the creative side of the company, and little to none of it translated to the merchandising side of things.

I know there was one theory that Mabel's bubble was powering Weirdmageddon. Although I don't think it makes any sense.

Now another theory is that it's a trap to catch symbol characters working of the theory that the wheel is 1., relevant, 2., that the symbols need to work together to banish Bill.

I guess it could be both.

The other theory is that Bill only put Mabel in a bubble for Gideon, but that doesn't seem to work with the "most diabolical trap" thing.

Or does the "something something Power" line up with the God Mabel theory? That she's becoming a God inside the bubble and she's going to save the day?

That might be the case. If the characters associated with the symbols really are the key to defeating Bill, it only makes sense if they're potentially beneficial to him as well. It would explain why Bill didn't try harder to eliminate more of them initially. After all, he only needed the Pines family to open the Rift. All the others should have been targets.

The biggest point in favour of the Wheel components as a source of Bill's power is still the Mystery Blot from Dipper's and Mabel's Guide. Whether it's a literal final form, or something more symbolic, it implies Bill will absorb something from either the symbols, or the people who bear them.

I don't know if this is all overthinking. It might be. But I really, really hope there's more to Bill's seeming carelessness with his enemies than simple hubris.
