He also befriended/something more? Another ancient Cybertronian, Cyclonus, pictured here.

Also, his stories of heroism were all lies. He's actually only around a year old in terms of experience.

I saw this movie in the theaters back in 1986-whenever and Starscreams' death, the final death of any G1 character in the movie was just the cherry on the top of the pie.
