We Stand on Guard is only a miniseries but I like it

DC:
Grayson is always consistently good but the art needs work. Mikel Janin's plastic figures juxtaposed with the pyschedelic elements just don't fit imo but its still top-tier

Justice League - what can I say Johns is back to his Johnsy self that I like so much. Use of internal continuity, character development, and cool situations with an epic feel to them

Prez - not technically an ongoing but it has that modern day Transmetropolitan feel, only heavier on the political commentary and less caricatures of Hunter S. Thompson. Even when it feels regressively old-hat about social media it still manages to surprise with modernity (on a side note this is where I don't like Tokyo Ghost. Remender lets his old man show too much and enables nostalgists)

not too many things past issue 1 or 2 but
Doctor Strange = first two issues are promising. I don't normally like Jason Aaron and the premise was initially eh but the setup has been worth it and it has a good balance of serious, comedic, and horror that I think a modern Strange book should have. Bachalo is a legend on art

Karnak - flawed (get it) in that Zaffino didn't quite have a handle on the fight scenes but as a reader of nihilist philosophy I enjoyed it mixed with this badass kung fu-ery. It's a warren ellis comic so you know what you're going to get. I just hope the 2nd issue is more refined

Vision - extremely promising first issue with so much contrast and stark psychological horror to it and an oddly dark comedy feel.

East of West - Intriguing world with great building, a nicely balanced cast of characters all with distinct traits and features, and some of the best artwork influenced by manga and european comics

Deadly Class - Remender's mix of the autobiographical with the outlandish and exaggerated backdrop plus disturbingly human characters keeps it coming

Island - if only for the sheer variety of creators and stories, and multiple warheads

He is. Most modern Hawkeye writers are basing their Clint off of Fraction's run, and him being def was a plotpoint in Fraction's run.

He just has a really good hearing aid, so it's not like it really effects him that much. Only when he doesn't have the hearing aid in or takes a few too many blows to the head.
