It would be really interesting if you actually turned out to be Alex Hirsch. If so, I really want to talk to you. It seems like we'd have a good time. I actually grew up in a Hermetic cult, of the same type that Twin Peaks' lore is based on. I grew up with the Black and White lodges as "real" "non-fiction" influences on my life, and fascination with the paranormal kind of got burned into me. I was actually developing a cartoon pitch for a couple years, where a brother and a sister in a small "ideal American" town with a secret past find an artifact that allows them to astrally project and explore the greater and greater mysteries of the town's history, setting, and inhabitants--especially dream diving and encountering eldritch abominations based on the lore I studied as a kid. I kind of mothballed it after Gravity Falls came out because the execution is SO SIMILAR. I even had a theme song written. Kinda sucks.

It's unclear what these would be, and it's clear that he no longer wants to work on a kids show. Whether that means he plans to go work on an existing Adult Swim show or start a new one is unclear. But Disney does retain that right to milk this cow as long as it's worth it, as Alex admits. If Disney wants to, they'll turn into MLP where the creator leaves, someone else fills in, and the show falls apart and gets commercialized.
