Enemy Ace is an interesting idea, but for some reason DC reprinted one story a dozen different times in succession. Not quite a reprint either, more like the comicbook equivalent of Groundhog's day. Same scenes, different angles and emphasis on more or less the same scenes. It was at once, fascinating and downright maddening.

Heinrich is this excellent combination between intimidating and tragic, they do an excellent job of capturing how absolutely horrible and desperate the war really was.

And when it goes full Silver Age it's a fucking blast. Weird as something as dark and horrible as WW1 going silver age is.
