She wasn't all for it. She had expressed her reservations in previous comics such as Kindness of Cats and You of Two. And more recently, when Andy confided in Didi about what had happened between between him and Gogo, Didi was trying to smooth things over into 'not a big deal'. When Gogo began to tease him with her doomsday scenario, Didi saw the opportunity to further push that message and joined in. She was trying to maintain what she saw as a comfortable status quo without the hard questions that a relationship between Gogo and Andy would raise. Not her finest moment.

Of course, the fact that I'm explaining this here means it could have been executed better. For that I apologize.

Yeah I'm probably one of the few anons to get it. I've been in a situation with a woman 11 years my senior when I was a teenager. It's a relationship of passion and physical attraction. It fizzled out because it was ultimately a dysfunctional relationship. That was 16-18 years ago and if you ask do I have fond memories? Yes I do. But I was not mature enough to sort myself out and have an ongoing thing going on. And she had unrealistic standards, expecting more out of me then what I could give.

Andy and Gogo though might have a chance for a stable relationship in the future. There's the emotional maturity levels and their attraction to one another that isn't based on physical attraction alone. Hell I would say Gogo has things that make her less attractive and downright repulsive. And Andy isn't likely the masculine figure Gogo would usually go for. But they have a comfort with one another me and my ex didn't have.

Didi's sad sigh and semi smile of ambivalence was nice.

The second period bell rang as students rushed towards their classrooms of Richter Highschool. In Ms. Hauptman’s Freshman English class is where Alise Grubitz found herself.

Alise nervously waved a hand of hello at the entire class, a wave of silence washed over her.

Readers have an emotional investment in Bomango, and may not like the idea of a reboot. I don't think that it invalidates what has come before. If it did, I wouldn't have advocated for an arc that would wrap things up. Instead, I would have proposed simply relaunching immediately.

But if that doesn't mollify you, please consider this: Van is the same person. You enjoyed what he has done in the past, trust that he will continue to offer you something enjoyable in the future. As for me, my involvement has been much more recent. You may distrust me and my influence. That's fair. Trust then that I at least have Bomango's best interests at heart. I was a fan first.
