I watched that.
And speaking of cats and shit.
I remember at lunchtime are school played this, and I honestly thought it was a long cutscene for a video game
There was a store in my town that only sold cheap shit and they had a table full of CTD figurines bundled with a VHS. And it was all just Ted. It became a running joke with a friend of mine. We never learned other names of CTD. It was all just Ted.
Fuck it, I don't care if it's not a cartoon.
The animation was meh, I remember. I'm talking about the show itself. I seem to recall watching it over other animated shows at the time, when nothing better was on. So it's got that much going for it at least.
Sounds vaguely familiar, yet I'm sure I've never heard of it.
this is one of the best French animations i've ever watched
i really love how fluid the animation is
Rip my memories
Wrong cat, chief.
No. Kat had a girlfriend who appeared throughout the show. She was able to speak English.
In the early episodes, they both won in equal measure. But Coop began winning every episode before long.
Also, the ending was rubbish. They all learn the truth about Kat, Coop and Kat come to some sort of peaceful understanding, and then everybody's mind gets wiped and the series starts over with the family first discovering Kat.
I watched this when nothing else was on, it was OK, I remembar an episode were finally everyone realizes the cat is an alien, they go to his planet and all... and then it ends with everyone having their memories wiped.
Apparently that was the last episode before getting canned.
>yfw the SP videogame is rated T for sexual jokes and stuff like that
Yet another cartoon that I was thrilled about was Danger Mouse, that cartoon is already get a revival in 2016
>YFW two different puzzles involve getting Candy deflowered
I watched that too.
I've still never watched the series finale movie of Tutenstein. By the time I started watching Discovery Kids, the movie stopped airing and I was only able to catch regular episodes.
Is it worth watching?
THIS. I remember that episode she was at some mansion with this mosquito dracula lookin' thing, and she was trying to prove he was draining people's blood.
How I learned that only the female mosquitoes suck blood.
Wish they ha more animals, or even made for a more grown up audience, I think it would've done well if it weren't aimed at kids
I remember loving it.
The cartoon that this Bury Pink is watching. I forgot the name of it though.
Someone help me out. There was a show that was at a magic school like Harry Potter and it had a trio of two boys and one girl. The boy had a special power that involved putting together a white wand and only he could defeat the evil guy.
Not many people really mention this one but i remember watching this whenever it came on
I've NEVER seen this mentioned here
There are 7 billion people out there, at one of them watched something you watched in your childhood.
Watched the fuck outa SRMTHFG
Anybody seen this tho?
I'm not sure if my memory is blurred by nostalgia but, I loved this show
I had every single one of the books that show is based on but when I watched the show I hated it. I was a kid then and don't remember why exactly I didn't like it compared to the books.
>Lasted only two seasons
Yet shows like Johnny Test got around 6
If it was maybe aimed at a bit older audience it might have done well.
Gotta borrow all the VHS tapes from the library for a marathon
It was alright.
It's my guilty pleasure.
I've watched all of those.
Once, never again.
And I loved that one.
>story heavy cartoons are harder to keep fresh than random humor shows.
GOOD comedy shows tend to burn out after only 2-3 seasons, once they've used up all of the jokes you can safely milk out of the premise without them coming across as tired or mediocre or crap.
The secret of Johnny Test was that the jokes were always tired, mediocre crap, so there was nowhere to go but eternal status quo. It's hard to get worse when you're already at the bottom, and don't aspire to loftier heights.
JT knew what it was and wasn't ashamed of it.
I have wanted to watch that one out of curiosity but never get around to do it.
Is it anything like World of Fizz?
The first season, before it was sold to Canada, is okay.
Remember me /co/? Remember when I sneezed into an even worse CG after a couple of seasons?
I vaguely remember a show about a boy living with a bunch of aliens either in or near a light house, and they all loved taffy
It was in CGI, and I just used it as background noise when I was waiting for KND to come on
My turn. There was a show that was animated in still slides that was about a family who also had a pink alien living with them. The alien and daughter just hung out and stuff
No one believed me that this even existed.
I've never seen Mischief City, but that immediately reminded me of the new(?) show Penn Zero on Disney XD
Only saw one episode when I was flipping channels
they were toys or something like that
thought it was an interesting concept, till they turned back into regular people and it became boring again
This fucking guy, he never wear pants and thats all i can remember
Does anyone remember this pretty obscure show, I remember I saw it on teletoon (canadian TV) channel.
I don't remember anything about it except there was a scene where all the characters were talking about how gandhi drank his own piss. I think it took place in an urban setting.
I don't think that's what that was. I'm pretty sure the actual gandhi wasn't involved. As far as I remember that specific scene took place in a city apartment at night. I can remember the scene vividly but haven't been able to find the show
Wasn't martin mystery loosely based on some comic? Anyways, it was pretty damn good.
It was kinda odd that martin had a bunch of cameos in totally spies.
I remember watching this shit. It was shit.
Does anyone remember a show with these two kids, siblings maybe, wind up in space running away from some evil empire?
All I really remember was they had a one eyed robot and I think the enemies were scaly fish aliens.
The show was actually pretty bearable, and might have even been good, if they haven't botched the ending
Loved Cleo back then. For bonus points, I was watching it on the background when playing Pharaoh + Cleopatra
Pretty awesome series. Laid back and funny
>no Iggy Arbuckle
A cartoon from my childhood
Godawful shit that plagued European CN back in the day
It was an awesome show.
Andy is actually my inspiration
WITCH was pretty rad, actually. Shame that it never got season 3
I liked it back when I was a kid, but can't remember much of it now
>It was kinda odd that martin had a bunch of cameos in totally spies.
not really. Both shows kinda deal with the same crazy stuff, same style of animation and humor, and made by the same studio. I would be surprised if they didn't take place in the same universe.
I remember this show being actually good/decent. Like a solid 6 or 7/10
holy fuck I remember that being on
holy fuck this show was creepy for child me. Doubting Dave was awesome. 9/10 great show
was that the show with the robots for everyone theme?
Martin mystery was the tits 9/10
Teletoon is the canadian CN, and it's also the tits
I remember nothing from this show but I remember always watching it.
jacob Two Two was the tits mane what chu talkin bout
so many canadian shows
yvon of the yukon is the absolute tits
Anyone else canadian here? I swear I used to watch all these shows all the time as a kid, half of these must be canadian or something.
BTW anyone watch this?
They were never reasonable morals being taught. It always ended up being stuff like a kid wouldn't top fiddling with things, then someone kidnapped him and cut off all his fingers.
Fuckin' Sky commanders and Dino Riders.
I can't even find a decent image for this one.
Fuck I loved that show. Atlanta was perfect.
>theme song is now stuck in my head
Also I remember another show about a very french mouse living with his mouse family in...modern day paris? it might have been old paris...
I remember there being a russian astronaut, A family, a teenage girl, a fat kid I think maybe a dog.
And I think I remember one episode where some alien mind parasite came on board n shit. I remember that ep being pretty spooky.
Can't remember if it was a good show or not.
Not a Canadian and know nothing about this show except for this theme song because someone posted it in a great cartoon theme song thread once.
That and Len Carlsen voiced my main in Street Fighter III: Third Strike.
Hugo, not Q
Dude, I was so obsessed about W.I.T.C.H., I remember I collected all things with this
We all watched it. I remember all that hype for final episode and then...BACK TO STATUS QUO
I bet no one remember this.
was actually one of the first Winx team cartoon...
I don't have a picture of it, but does anybody remember a cartoon that'd have some 3d cg girl who'd turn different parts of her body into instruments in front of a theater and play them? It was during the credit segment I think. Does anyone know what it was called?
...And the more ambitious one. JoJoesque entities fights, dynamic magic and investigation stuff.
There's someting good, that's surely an awesome idea, but there's someting "i don't fucking know" stuff.
Rainbow cartoon team think only about money. Cause living doing the comics\toon artist is hard, but is what you choose. You liked that, making strange fantastic places and stuff. You will sure know you will not get rich.
Curious. What's the thing coming up your mind and link to that cartoon?
Sheeit there was a polish dub?
As i remember, you don't really need to understand, plots was really simple
Oh man, that's the stuff. I watched it very late in a sick haze when I was young, and I wasn't ever able to find it again for all these years.
That girl playing her instruments was the only thing I could remember and it's been bothering me for ages. Thanks a ton!
If my memory serves, Braceface is still aired on polish TELETOON +, I remember I watched it when MiniMax channel was existed
Polish tv is better than italian
Fuck, we have dragon ball on air since like 17 years ago. New networks started with some cool stuff, but they start to repeat the same cartoon season and putting the good one at 4 am
And speaking of cartoons on polish channels, Slacker Cats was aired on MTV Poland along with Drawn Together. I used to watch that cartoon when I was 12, it sad it has only 12 episodes. As for any americans (I mean you guys) before the Pretty Little Liars, that show was the true "new kind of family"
>Polish tv is better than italian
True, only in the 2000's polish kids were having fun
I remember all these VHS Simsala Grimm episodes
Hardly anybody I know watches that show. Penn Zero, I mean. It's not that bad.
Funfact: where i am, was aired at 4 am, named grogmagog and not wunshpunch
barely remember this
Probably saw in other media. There was a NES game or something?
you want rare French cartoons? Try this mon ami.
Ok, that was obscure enough
I don't remember ANYthing of this show except for the opening credits.
It has many fanarts from one artist on deviantart
It an original sceenshot I made on my camera with an ad of The Mighty B, so what do you think?
There's no narration when it's shown in the UK either. To be fair until now I didn't realise it had narration and just thought it was some kind of French rip-off of Tom and Jerry
It was pretty good, but impossible to find all episodes, even in french. Especially in french for some reason.
>Monster Allergy on Disney from way back when
I really loved it, disappointed that they didn't show it anymore
I want to feel Alice's bulge on the back of my head
Who /pbs/ here?
I've never seen this in any threads so either loads of people watched or its that damn obscure.
>Animal planet is shit just like any other channel dedicated to a particular programing.
Yep. A channel literally named Animal Planet should not "surprisingly human" as its tagline or programming philosophy.
Yeah We get many Polsish dubbings from tvp3 but many are forgoten because it wasn't popular station.
"Tomi i Oskar, to przyjaciele których snasz
Tomi i Oskar spotkacie sie nie raz!"
I have no clue how popular this is but I have been watching it a lot lately. It's pretty enjoyable.
Alright, guys. How about this one?
Master Cyclonis was best.
Stork was my favorite out of the protagonists.
El Tigre: The adventures of Many Rivera is such an underated show.
I wanted to see how the previous Storm hawks were defeated. They spoke about it a lot in the show and even the intro, but I wanted an episode where it actually showed how it happened.
Now I got nostalgia over The Magic Roundabout, back in my kinderground days it was aired on Cartoon Network in 3 am, and the intro music, so nostalgialicious
Is it me or did this show have the shortest run ever back when nicktoons was still a thing?
Best show on PBS after Arthur for sure. The two parter episodes where hacker almost wins is the GOAT.
I wonder if it ever got a proper end.
HEY HEY YOU YOU OUT IN THE STREETS
I'm pretty sure this show was super popular when it aired
I remember these.
The weird one is Walter Melon, because I can't remember a single episode, a single joke, but I remember a pattern each episode had. I completely forgot about that show's existence until, well, I saw a fragment.
Here's one none of you fuckers watched.
It wasn't as good as Men in Black, but me and my brother liked it.
It even has two fucking endings.
This is way way way way way different to the sauce material it's based on.
It's like if someone wanted to make a Batman cartoon......About Batman doing odd jobs with Tim Drake that lead to wacky slapstick filled adventures.
>Is it me or did this show have the shortest run ever back when nicktoons was still a thing?
I don't see how: Wayside lasted 26 episodes, the same as El Tigre or Tak and the Power of Juju.
If you wanna talk short-lived Nicktoons, try Rugrats Pre-School Daze, which lasted a grand total of four episodes.
>If you wanna talk short-lived Nicktoons
Why not The X's?
I remember I used to watch that show about a group of guys who fight a race of aliens that in every episode had new forms/mutations.Those aliens when were "killed" transformed theirselves in pink "starfish".Anyone remembers the name? They have even made a movie I think
It's actually even shorter when you consider that despite consisting of 20 episodes, only the first 12 have been released on iTunes.
Curiously, the same thing happened about 5 years ago when Nickelodeon UK re-aired The X's around 3am on weekdays...but never got any further than episode 12.
>tfw you liked all the shorts that would play between shows on teletoon but you can't remember their names
