I am still hyped over it. I thought they were going to forget about fusion after Stevonnie but they actually used the important plot fu as part of the climax and that makes me super proud of the writers. Plus that whole thing with giant lovecraftian Malachite was just awesome, it's nice to see a villain get their just desserts in this show for a change. Reminded me of Turbo's fate from WIR.

I wish Adventure Time could deal with arcs in a cool way like these shows does. I still love AT, and I understand that these shows aren't the same when it comes to plot-writing and character development, but when an episode from both SU or GF want to do an huge blow to the status quo or some new unexpected stuff added to the mix, it feels very fresh and intriguing compared to what is happening in AT.

I'm just talking about how they deal with story arcs, not necessarely saying one is better/the other one is worse.

If you're referring to the production order, it's actually kept its continuity regardless of it "out of order" episodes. Example, Watermelon Steven was supposed to come before island adventure according to the list, but all episodes post island adventure, Sadie has a scar on her face, including Watermelon Steven. And I could think of a few gravity falls episode I could shuffle without hurting anyone's understanding of the series. Both shows stop to have fun from time to time, but both shows also have pretty strong running arcs and build on events that have happened, even if you don't necessarily expect it to have mattered at the time.

I don't know, I finally watched that Gravity Falls episode and it was boring as fuck. I literally called like, half the lines in the show it was that predictable. It's a really interesting thing to think about. What would that feel like to be fused together with someone? Like not really having a line where one person starts and the other stops, but still kind of having separate consciousnesses? I don't think that Garnet ever feels 100% alone because she's kind of two people and their connection runs so deep.

Jasper was your basic PROUD WARRIOR but I think that's fine because I think it's meant to highlight the way Homeworld shoehorns people into very specific roles (when Rose talks about how much she loves Earth she talks about how there's so much variety and unpredictability that could happen in each individual's life).

In a lot of other series this might come across as a bland sentiment but in a show like SU where we actually do dedicate a lot of time delving into individuals' private lives, and not just that of the main cast, it rings a lot more true.

If you boost the saturation of white, you're going to get a color. If it's really close to white then it's virtually random. If you look at color values of the triangle, they are virtually pure white with the left edge having some red and the top and right edges having some green and a tiny bit of blue.

I'm holding onto my theory that the pyramid in Serious Steven was some kind of mausoleum, and that Rose managed to trap White Diamond's gem in there, thus 'erasing' the White Diamond faction.

Lapis is probably part of a Blue Diamond faction, considering her rather anti-militaristic outfit and colour.
