ITT: Weird /co/ confessions
When I first saw Arnie I was so repulsed for whatever reason that I threw up. Even seeing this image today makes my gag reflex tingle.
I suppose the Doppleganger effect could be in play.
When a character is supposed to be a very close copy of another, yet noticeably different, it could create a sense of uneasiness. It looks wrong, but we know it's not supposed to be "right". Cognitive dissonance perhaps.
I don't like impostor characters anyways, shit is fucking infuriating.
>Not liking the best imposter character
HA had the best paranormal episodes.
That part in the episode with the pigeon man where Gerald is telling the story and he backhandedly mentions that the man could be an alien, along with the image of a weird mutated pigeon thing cowering up always had me scared as fuck.
Extra-Fat Harold was also made me extremely uneasy.
>MFW Pigeon man was originally written to jump off the roof and die.
I hated the old nickelodeon art style that I avoided all of their cartoons when I was young.
similar to OP i got a little sick every time i watched As Told By Ginger
just that art style made everyone ugly even the girls that were supposed to be hot looked ugly i just couldn't stand it
I would always change the channel when the episode with Harold and the kitten came on because it made me cry uncontrollably for some reason.
In fact I don't think I've actually watched that episode in years
Rocket Power, Rugrats, Aah! Real Monsters, As Told By Ginger, and The Wild Thornberries were co-produced by the same animation company (Klasky-Csupo) and had the same, intentional aesthetic and character designers. They also animated the 1st season of the Simpsons.
Kind of explains why some of 1st season's animation is so wonky. Klasky Csupo was just starting out.
I get really sick and I start uncontrollably crying and freakign out when somethin besides cartoons comes on TV.
Ever since I was little my parents had to edit tapes together with just cartoons and no 3-D sections because I freak out every time I see a person on a screen moving. I have to hide a lot of threads on 4chan because of this and I only browse /a/, /c/ /co/, and /y/. I can barely use other websites because if I see people moving on the screen I freak out and it takes hours for me to recover sometimes
as long as there aren't 3D people on there, that's why I can't go on /v/ for the past 4 years it makes me really sick seeing it and last time I tried someone posted a gif of that feminist lady but it looked like it was video game footage so I clicked on it and spent the rest of the evening freaking out.
look at him!
A REAL PERSON MOVING!
Also there's some crossover between /co/ and /tg/ in certain games
Like one of my favorites, HeroClix, which can never sustain a thread on either board.
The only time I can think when photos would be posted is about real-world weapons, reaction pics, or famous people related to /tg/.
That's actually pretty sad, anon. Pathetic sad, not sympathy sad.
Klasky-Csupo fell into a hole, though. I mean fucking really.
Imagine, Having version of yourself get suck the life/fun out of it and replace it with Subtle Southern accent. Not a Cool accent but that accent that going to tell you, He masturbate to donkey sex. Then, Put the creepiest 50's hat on it and You got a bizarre version of Arnold. He is not fun, He is dumb, He get the main hero love interest wet in the panties.
Used to get a boner at Bugs Bunny, but only that one episode. The opera one with "kill da wabbit". I knew it was wrong and it was still like this 40 year old rabbit but that outfit and helmet was just, god.
I had the same problem with Ren and Stimpy. My mom turned off the tv whenever it was on, but my sister got a vhs of the Christmas special and put it on to scare and make me start crying.
I know your pain.
There was this video or two we owned on casette when I was a kid. It was some cheap looking cartoon that looked like it was drawn by a 5 year old. They were safety instruction videos, both tapes, and both had two episodes on them. I remember one was about being safe at the beach and using sun tan lotion, one was about crossing the street.
Whatever, the point is, I just wanted to write this out and hope I could remember more about it. Tried to find them a few times but it's just too generic. An older sister and her kid brother were the main characters.
What the fuck, anon? You need help, but it's going to be hard to find an animated doctor.
>collage of nostalgic 90s shows
>Invader Zim is on it
ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER
Mike, there's no such thing as "The Amanda Show". What have I told you about making things up?
Welcome to everything.
If you're having a psychosomatic reaction to non animated material I can only assume it's related to some sort of control imbalance you had as a child, did you have domineering parents?
So that's why I puke whenever I see a Sonic OC
