"Tune the Rainbow"
Never watched RahXephon, anyone know the parallels this might be referencing?
Forget if I already posted this typeset before.

It's funny how Regis was basically the baby of the group. His companions were all 5 to 20 years older than him.
Are these dorks reenacting the "Kiss me Hardy" thing?
Really interested in what this one says. It's the artist's interpretation of why he didn't shave.
>>3107012
>I thought there was nothing. Nothing left of my father anymore.
>Then I realized the only thing left was me. And suddenly, even shaving my beard felt like a waste.
Strap in, folks, this is gonna be a long one.

Man: Whew, great job. So, how does it look?
Ignis: Nothing seems to be amiss. I’m somewhat concerned about the mudflow, though, due to long rains.
Man: Nah, it’s gonna be fine. How’s the Crown City?
Ignis: Doing well enough. Around the Citadel, about 60% of the transportation has been restored. People are gradually coming back.
Man: Huh… Good to hear.
Man: Time flies, doesn’t it. It’s been five years…
Ignis: …Yes.
Man: Things are changing so fast it makes you dizzy. Both people and the environment are moving on. Even the Chocobos are coming back, little by little.
Man: We’re so grateful to you, boys. And of course…
Man: To him as well.
Man: Let’s go back. Looks like it’s gonna start raining again.
Ignis: Mm.
Man: I can drop you in Lestallum.
Ignis: No, I…
Man: It’s fine. I want to.
[Ignis: Five years. Just like that. I barely noticed.]

[Ignis: After the morning sun came back into the world, it took some time. Insomnia had been a nest of daemons, after all. But slowly, people are returning.]
[Ignis: Helping with the restoration. There’s so much to do.]
Ignis: … (throb)
[Ignis: Cor, Iris and others work without a break. The remaining Crownsguard are now stationed all over the country, keeping watch not only over the Crown City, but the land as a whole.
[Ignis: But all the names are just provisional now.]
[Ignis: There is no crown in the Crown City. No Lord to protect.]
Dave: The hunter crowd is pretty different now.
Dave: That fight five years ago, it was everything. Can’t imagine how grand it must’ve been.
Dave: But you know… I thought not much would change for us. The things that need protection are still the same. I wanted to believe that years don’t change what matters…
Dave: Remember the dogtags you collected 15 years ago? It’s hard to say, but… I don’t even remember what their owners sounded like anymore.

[Crown City Security Force – Lestallum Division]
Ignis: Gladio, is that you…?
Gladio: Damn, that was fast. …You’re doing it again, aren’t you? You’re forcing it. Even Prompto and others have been telling you to knock it off.
Ignis: Well, as long as I have the sense of touch, I might as well do what needs to be done. (Fine, sorry for the ugly writing)
Gladio: Not what I meant, but okay…
Ignis: I’ll list the details in the report, but it seems there’s no change around the Cauthess Disc.
Gladio: I see.
Ignis: Chocobos are sensitive to any environmental changes. I enlisted Wiz to help me and he said there’s nothing out of order.
Gladio: Uh-huh. Hm? What’s with you?
Ignis: I’ve been having migraines lately. It is no hindrance.
Gladio: You’re overworked. Take a break already. Iris’ been worried too.
Ignis: I’m sorry about that, but there’s a lot I have to-
Gladio: You’ve been loopy ever since your talk with Dave and Sania. It hurts to look at you now.
Gladio: Fine. I’ll deliver these myself and you take two days off, starting tomorrow.
Ignis: Who gave you the right-!
>>3107077
Gladio: Drop it. I’m guessing you need more time than that.
Ignis: …
Ignis: Take a break, he says.
Ignis: I don’t want to think now…
Ignis: I’m so sorry…
Sania: When someone dies, it seems the first thing his loved ones forget is his voice.
Sania: Then his face, and finally the memories they had of him. People generally think of forgetting as something sad…
Sania: But consider this. Forgetting lets us move on. The dramatic changes we’re seeing right now are happening because people themselves are changing.
Sania: Nothing in this world is permanent.
Ignis: I wonder if I still remember.
End of part one.

I had been hoping there would be some string of luck for someone to translate this (and the second part of it) so god bless you anon. I'm ready for pain.
>>3107078
Part Two
>>3107119
Ignis: People die twice.
Ignis: The first death is when the body dies and the life ends. The second death is when they are forgotten by others.
Ignis: My uncle seemed oddly sad when he was telling me this. But…
Ignis: I have a person I must protect. I wouldn’t be tied by the past. If I can just follow what’s dear to me, never losing sight of it…
Ignis: I thought it’d all work out.
Voice: The pain you are feeling now… Are you sure it’s only grief?
(throb)
Ignis: Great… I slept for ages and it’s still there.
Ignis: Well. It’s about time to procure some spices.
Ignis: And since I’m here
Ignis: I suppose I could buy a snack.
Seller: Welcome, sir!
Ignis: Nutmeg and cinnamon… And two bags of black pepper.
Seller: Sure thing!
Ignis: What…? A sweet…smell… I’m sure that’s…
Seller: Want some? Or you could make an awesome jam from them.
>>3107120
Seller: Hm?
Ignis: Ah… No, I’ll pass today.
Seller: Oh? That’s a pity; they’re in season now. Okay, just wait a sec.
Ignis: It’s gotten worse. What’s wrong with me…
Voice: Check this out. Looks delicious, right?
Ignis: Noct-
Woman: Um…
Ignis: Ah… My apologies. I mistook you for someone else.
Woman: Whew, you startled me. Oh well, take care!
(throb throb)
Voice: Sir?
Ignis: Ugh…
Ignis: Ahahaha…. Okay, this is serious.
>>3107121
Talcott: Are you sure? Daemons are gone, but it’s already dark out…
Ignis: I won’t give you any reason to worry. And yes, it’s fine. I know the way from here. Talcott, you can go home if you want.
Ignis: Sorry for imposing like this.
Talcott: Oh no, not at all…
Ignis: I’m going.
Talcott: I’ll wait in the car! Please give me a call if anything happened!
Voices: Things are changing so fast it makes you dizzy. I don’t even remember their voices. Nothing in this world is permanent.
Ignis: It’s been a while.
Ignis: I am sorry I took so long to visit you again. The Crown City is not what it used to be, but it’s recovering. The nights were so beautiful there.
Ignis: Galdin Quay has a new fishing pier.
Ignis: Prompto is coming here often, right? He’s taking photos all over the place, says he wants you to see how lovely the world is becoming.
Ignis: And Gladio has switched to chewing me off instead.
Ignis: I still… Hear so many people talking about you.
[Ignis: It’s been five years already.]
Ignis: Hey…
[Ignis: Changes]
Ignis: Are you sad?
Ignis: Noct…
>>3107122
Ignis: I don’t want to forget.
Ignis: I thought I wanted to hear you again.
Ignis: Your sullen rasp when you just woke up, not even trying to hide it.
Ignis: The imperious bite in your voice when you were brimming with confidence.
Ignis: Everything.
[Nothing in this world is permanent. The world is always changing so fast. And human memories are no different.]
[Ignis: I know they must be growing faint, but when I resist, when I try to call them out, it’s like they rage inside my head.]
[Ignis: All the human bonds…the memories engraved into the soil]
[Ignis: They are still here because of you.]
[Ignis: There’s too much of you in this world. Too much of your heart of gold.]
Ignis: Noct…
>>3107128
Noctis: So it’s true. There are no stars, no nothing.
Noctis: Hope nothing’s much changed there, while they’re covered up.
Ignis: Noct… The lifespan of stars is-
Noctis: Yeesh, Iggy, I know!
Noctis: This is one thing about you that’s never gonna change.
Noctis: But that’s good. Stay the way you are, nagging and all.
Noctis: I wish… We could watch a meteor shower again.
Noctis: Hm…?
Noctis: Something tells me you’re not gonna forget me anytime soon.
Ignis: As if I could. Never.
Ignis: So, please. We’ll see each other again.
Ignis: In our memory.
>>3107129
Prompto: Ignis!
Ignis: …?
Prompto: Stupid Iggy! Do you have any idea how freaked out we were!?
Ignis: Uh, Prompto?
Prompto: Talcott called me. Said you went to Noct’s place and weren’t coming out…
Prompto: And I thought something happened to you, so…
Prompto: So I…
Ignis: Well, sorry for scaring you.
Prompto: I kinda hate you right now. I’m gonna get Gladio to chew you out when we get back!
Ignis: How frightening.
Prompto: Let’s go home. Everybody’s waiting.
Ignis: …Yes.
Prompto: Ignis, look! Can you tell..?
Prompto: It’s the morning sun.
[Ignis: I wonder if the day when I won’t be able to remember you anymore]
[Ignis: Will ever come.]
We’ll see each other again.
Ignis: …Yes. I will find you…
Prompto: Say, Ignis…
Prompto: What were you doing at Noct’s place anyway?
Ignis: I wanted to hear his voice.
Ignis: Prompto. Why don’t we three go to Altissia?
Ignis: We could take a boat from Galdin Quay. The port is newly restored.
Ignis: We could watch the sea and enjoy the seafood cuisine he loved.
Prompto: What the hell… sounds great… Too great, in fact. Makes me think it was all a trap or something…
Ignis: Haha, oh no.
Prompto: Cool! Then it’s settled! Time to work hard and then party hard!
Ignis: I suppose. And we have to tell Gladio.

Fin.
I feel like an older Noctis vs an illusory young Omen Noctis would make a nice hypothetical final battle for an XV Versus or any interquel set inside the Crystal world.
>>3107313
>>3107315
>>3107313
It'd be an interesting encounter. The Omen Noctis is essentially him if he'd decided to fight his unfair role instead of offering himself as a martyr. I don't think he'd have any beef with King Noctis, though the latter would definitely feel compelled to kill his younger self for the greater good.
That said, all Nocts are fucked up. His in-game banter can be really something.
>Ignis: You okay? How are you feeling?
>Noctis: I'm fine. I've had worse near-death experiences.
