Gorillaz thread, given the imminent release of the album and news of an animated series in the works. Apologies for having mostly (only) 2d.
And I'm gonna leave it at 5 pictures for now.

>Apologies for having mostly (only) 2d.
Why apologize for that? There's only 3 dudes in this series, it's not like there's loads and loads of characters to give attention to.
>>3100908
It was a bad attempt at a subtle way of asking others to contribute for more variety.
>>3100853
Waitaminute 2D's eyes in that aren't black holes of nothingness
what kinda lazy shit is that.
That's all I have in my gallery
>>3101086
He had normal eyes before the accident.
>>3100853
2d is best boy
don't mind the noodle, here's a megane 2d
man I really wish more artists would draw pre-accident 2d, the bruised eyes are endearing but he's way cute with white scleras too
alright, hopefully my pixiv digging helped build up some folders
>>3101370
Post-accident 2D is supreme waifu material, pre-accident 2D is just okay.
>>3101370
I think it's such a peculiar feature, it gives artists some leeway with what they can get away with. As in, makes the character easily recognisable even in styles other than official art's.
>>3101393
It did, I thought I had dug up everything from Pixiv but some of these were news to me. Thanks!
And I think that's all I have, as far as regular eyes go.

Late 23 2d.
This made nostalgic for the old Gorillaz website. Apparently there's a guy who attempted to make a backup of it throught the phases. Something doesn't quite work but the games are fine.
2D is love, 2D is life.
>>3102806
You are very, vey much right, anon.
Have some more from my folder.
>>3101370
And found some more pre-accident 2d just for you, anon.
>>3102806
Too adorable for this sinful earth
>>3103007
S-so moe.
This thread has been more of a blessing than I thought, my pc died but at least I can save back some of my favourite pics from here. Have some that survived.
Why does everyone want to fuck 2D please I actually do want to know
>>3103653
2D is moe
>>3103653
>adorable well meaning perpetually abused dimwit with a unique character design
Literally built for rape.
>>3103693
I want to protect his smile.
>>3103653
The design is pretty good.
Super moe characteristics (big eyes, upturned small nose etc.) with a creepy twist (all black eyes, missing teeth etc.) keep it cute but interesting.
Personality is just plain old cute. Clumsy, bit stupid but surprisingly deep at times, perpetually mistreated, if your parental instincts aren't getting all fired up just by reading this then I can't explain.
Plus the voice of an angel. Damn that adorable accent.
>>3103737
Amazing how Hewlett and co. managed to create one of the purest examples of moe without even trying.
>>3103739
They must have known what they were doing. Can't believe this level of moe came out unintentionally.
>>3103653
>Naive dullard with big round 'eyes' and moe hair
>Stutters and fumbles over words
>Regularly bullied by Murdoc
>Just wants to be loved ;-;
>>3103739
>covers his face to hide from Murdoc yelling at him
>cutely mouths "I don't know" when Murdoc asks why the door is jammed
Hnnnnnnnggggggg
They gotta know what they're doing. Whips and dog leashes, really?
>>3102177
Sauce? This is the same artist isn't it?
>>3104288
Yeah, it is. Sorry anon, have been looking for the source myself but I've never been able to find it.
>>3104286
I'm glad they know and keep doing it.
>>3104288
>>3104298
Right, had forgotten about this. I Googled it again and the thing with this is the artist, Ricken, removed the Gorillaz fanart and now does work for DC comics. So... Yeah, unless someone has an archive for it, source is dead.
>>3104286
>Sunday being the day of rest, 2D waits on me hand and foot. He does that every day, to be fair, but on Sunday he wears a little apron, which makes it extra special
Give me official art of 2D dressed as a maid, Hewlett.
>>3104306
I have something unofficial, anon, if it can help.
>>3101110

Do you have a higher resolution?
Also, should we have a new thread after this one is done?
>>3104572
