I really want to know how manga Shinji and Karl's dates look like. Does Shinji take him around Tokyo and ends up worn out cause Karl is a kid who doesn't know how things work and is still discovering the world? Or is it Karl who leads, and the dates turn disastrous because the advices for a perfect lilin date in that cosmopolitan magazine were shitty and Karl just doesn't know how to be the perfect prince for his Shaun no matter how hard he tries. Should he just hire Anime Kaworu as a love coach but take the risk of having him steal his Shinji for himself?

Kaworu is the only character where you say you love him (and he says he loves you) straight in the story mode, which is their battle scene.

2.0 looked way more like Manga.
Sadly, the only thing I prefer about Anime's design is the eye shape. His expressions are wonderful, too, but only in the actual episode. He looks like a fucking predator in most official art from the 90s.
But, although I love Anime's dreamy expressions, I'm particularly charmed by the openness of Manga's very expressive face.
