>ywn see Newt care for Credence and send him off to magical schooling like a doting parent
>>3082769
>Credence introduces Newt to his class as his mother
>he then proceeds to kiss Newt deeply on the mouth right as the latter is about to leave, much to everyone's shock
>Newt turns bright red but allows Credence to ravage his mouth, too unwilling to potentially upset the latter
>Credence finally lets him go and says goodbye, acting as though what just happened was perfectly normal
>Newt awkwardly waves goodbye and quickly shuffles out the room, avoiding the judgmental stare of Credence's teacher
Don't mind me, just here to ruin things with lewd

Someone help me out here. If Graves was Grindelwald in disguise, is this another case of like in Triwizard where Moody was being polyjuiced and the real Graves is somewhere (but they just convienently skipped that scene) or was Grindelwald so powerful he could just create a spelled illusion/transfiguration to make his face look different? The movie didn't really explain much considering how fast it went from "Graves is behind this!" to "Oh no, nevermind, it's actually Johnny Depp with bleached hair." and no one even batted an eye or seemed surprised that this wasn't the real Graves (if there even was one?).

I think it is like in the fourth book and fill where the real Graves is being held captive some where and Grindeldepp just impersonated him really well and instead of deciding to show or allude to them trying to find him, they just focused on Newtina and making a 'happy' ending for Jacob even though it's still illegal for him and Queenie to get married. I'm really hoping for a scarred and recovering Graves to show up in the next one wanting revenge on Grindeldepp

I checked around for what happened to him in the screenplay version and found this instead from it:
"GRAVES gently, almost seductively, moves his thumb across the cuts, healing them instantly. CREDENCE stares...
GRAVES seems to make a decision. He puts on an earnest, trustworthy expression as, from his pocket, he produces a chain bearing the symbol of the Deathly Hallows.
GRAVES: I want you to have this, Credence. I would trust very few with it -
GRAVES moves close, placing the chain around CREDENCE's neck as he whispers.
GRAVES: Very few.
GRAVES places his hands on either side of CREDENCE's neck, drawing him in, his speech quiet, intimate.
GRAVES: ...but you - you're different.
CREDENCE is unsure, both nervous of and attracted by GRAVE's behaviour...
GRAVES moves even closer to CREDENCE, his face inches from the boy's neck - the effect is both alluring and threatening - as he whispers.
GRAVES: Do this and you will be honoured among wizards. For ever.
GRAVES pulls CREDENCE into a hug which, with his hand on CREDENCE's neck, seems more controlling than affectionate. CREDENCE, overwhelmed by the seeming affection, closes his eyes and relaxes slightly."
Credence at least will be back, confirmed by David Heyman. Percival though? I'm hoping he's hidden away some where and he'll be back as well.

This pairing is gross desu.
>>3083463
Which one? Grindelwald!Graves/Credence or Graves/Credence?
>>3083467
Both.
>>3083473
Yeah, I have difficulty getting into any Credence ships since he's a mentally stunted child abuse victim.
>>3083398
I remember watching this scene and just thinking it was gay and I know Rowling is getting real SJW now, but 1920's America is not the best place for it. It made more sense when it was Grindelwald and not an American and he's cannon gay with Dumbledore
>>3083891
Yeah with Grindelwald behind it, it made more sense since we now know Grindelwald did the exact same thing with Dumbledore. Seduced him to (possibly) get to his sister who might have been an Obscurus and never felt anything for him at all.
I should really learn to read chinaman one of these days. I miss out on too much context.

Here anon, I got a bunch.
>>3083891
I think it was meant to be taken as disturbing and child predatory-ish rather than shipping fodder.
