I can't see Soushi topping unless we are talking about Sein and Nicht docking, because Nicht!Soushi is a beast. But the rest of the time he is so awkward and stiff, he wouldn't know where to start.
Kazuki is clumsy too, but more physical. I bet he'll be very sweet and eager to please.

I can easily see them becoming a reversible couple, at least after a while but at first I suspect that Soushi would top. True, he is very awkward indeed (that scene in the first season in his room is hilarious) but given the whole childhood trauma with his eye, Kazuki would probably freak out over doing anything that might hurt Soushi.
Once they get over that it and after plenty of persuation Kazuki could very well top.

I like IBO as well but Fafner is special, by now I feel connected to every single character which is why it seeing them suffer horribly, as they do, becomes very painful.

Has anyone read the novel? I was surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. Some aspects of it bother me a bit, like Maya being a borderline psychic but overall it's very interesting.

I originally got into Fafner back when they first started putting out the dub on DVDs. I bought each one when it came out because I had dial up internet and couldn't watch it online. Fanart for Fafner was sparce because pixiv wasn't a regular thing so you had to browse through this japanese search website that listed Fafner fanartists. I had to do the same thing for FMA now that I think about it. Most of them took down their art after a while though, so it was so strange being in an empty fandom. It's even stranger that there's an active fandom now that unironically watches it, since Fafner was the butt of a lot of /m/ jokes back in the day.

I frequent the IBO thread more than this one though, I'm really enjoying it though I feel like it's been dragging the last few episodes. I think that general gay robot shows have become popular in recent years because of Code Geass, which I am completely ok with. I just want more fanart and fanfics, I only had to wait about 10 years to get it.
