Plants are food. You can grow your own plants.
How fares your garden so far, /ck/?
I've got a ton of chili peppers, onions, figs, and cucumbers this year. Unfortunately, the tomatoes have had their worst crop. Only two tomato plants have been productive while the rest have had 1-2 tomatoes. Grapes are doing okay, but we've had a lot of Japanese beetles tearing away at the leaves.
I'm also going to experiment a bit with hydroponics and pepper grafting.

yeah, if you're a rabbit!
/hgm/ here,
My beds look shitty thanks to my butterfly/moth infestation. Irma did me no favors.
I have a bunch of radishes and mustard started, while my broccoli sprouts died.
I have some tomatoes and tomatillos, but they're showing signs of blight and cutworm damage. Cucumbers are young and beautiful.
I'm starting a new batch of seeds now!

For indoor gardening? Or do you live in a warm climate?

I live in a shitty cold place and January is when I'm starting seeds indoors. They will have about 3 months indoors then get put out under polytunnels. By last frost, everything will be in the ground and have 4 months of growth already.
Started carrots, lettuce, and mustard for the season, they're cute little seedlings now. Also have young lemon, tomato, and strawberry plants. Praying I don't fuck up anything
Plants are also horrible demanding creatures that die instantly if they don't feel completely satisfied.
You also need to mutilate the regularly.
