Going to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a small work conference the end of this month.
Is there anything good here?
Brats and cheese curds. Also beer

Milwaukee public market is good. Good variety for good prices. Sobelmans for burgers, Smoke Shack for southern food, Third ward is usually where alot of the good shit is. Have fun anon.

Kopp's or Solly's for a nice burg
Or if you've never had culvers, try that too
burgers: AJ Bombers, Solly's Grill, Sobelmans
asian: Fortune, Fujiyama
german: Madder's, Old German Beer Hall
mexican: El Fuego
24/7: George Webb's
Every actual suggestion is good so far. Try out some beers from Lakefront Brewery, I've yet to have a beer from them I don't like. Not counting the pumpkin beer because pumpkin beers are shit everywhere.

If you go to Kopps be sure to get a custard shake with your burger.
>>9410613
If you like Bloody Marys Sobleman's also has the huge meme Mary's which actually taste decent.
Ward's House of Prime is good for prime rib in meme sizes

If you're wanting just a good place to eat, it's a crapshoot since Milwaukee is literally a tumor on the otherwise comfy body of Wisconsin.
If you're looking for Wisconsin specific foods to get while in milwaukee: cheese is big, specifically the cheese curds, brats and sausages, lot of craft beer that's only sold in WI (recomomend Spotted Cow as a WI exclusive.) Anything with a goofy sounding nordic name since WI heritage is Nordic.
Then get the fuck out of Milwaukee. It's a shit hole.

Kill yourself, faggot
get the fuck out as soon as you can
Milwaukee is up there with Detroit and Chicago in shittiness
if you want some good
Wisconsin food you can find it outside of that shithole

Spoken like a true Milwaukee art fag. Have fun getting raped by niggers in alleys.
I'd suggest leaving and heading to Door County or any other small fishing area, but if you are forced to stay there I would recommend Red Light Ramen. Really though, go to Door County and find some place that serves Lawyer fish.
Sprechers Root Beer is the worlds most perfect root beer.
Go to Culvers.
Potowatami Casino. Sprechers on tap.
Cheese. 10 year cheddar is special. Find it.
Representative of the Midwest checking in

Yo, you have to go to Solly's. Preferably on a Wedenesday night, because she seems to be the only cook on schedule who consistently makes a good butterburger. Otherwise it may be hit or miss. You owe it to yourself to have THE genuine butterburger. Just get a single, trust me. Uually get one with, one without, split a large fry, and split a shake.
I live in Richfield (about 20 minutes north), so my main area of expertise is the bars around here. Bacchus is excellent for high end dining that won't break the bank. Also really love capital grille for their burgers (have to special order if you're not eating there at lunch) as well as lobster bisque or other supper club fare. For German dining, there's Mater's, Carl Rosch's(sp), and I'm forgetting the name but near Bradford Beach and the north shore. Although I believe one of the first two institutions is closed now.
If you want a quaint throwback of a joint, the Fox Bay Cinema has a full dinner menu while you can watch in-theater movies. There are a lot of supper clubs in this state, but they're mostly spread out in more backwoods scenic areas, so couldn't say many that are within spitting distance of Milwaukee. (Lohman's was god-tier, but the owner decided to retire, then died a year later)

Sprecher's root beer and white rum. Mmm... Much better than their "hard" root beer.
>>9414323
Forgot my pic, but every pic seems terrible of butter burgers. They serve it to you while the butter is still warm yet solidified, instead of a dripping mess. It's part of the experience, and a good cook will have your order up and delivered as soon as it's slathered.

i want to eat jay's boipussi in milwaukee
>>9410613
What do you do?

You would be doing yourself a disservice by not visiting Kopp's. It is the tastiest frozen custard around, in my opinion.
If you're looking to drink a lot of beer, check out an MKE brewery tour, which is all you can drink for 2 hours (show up a half hour before your time). Lakefront also has a brewery tour, but it is not all you can drink, but they have a decent fish fry on Friday night.
