So I bought these boneless skinless chicken thighs about a week ago and I've been meaning to cook them but I just haven't been home. I've been touring a lot around my state and staying in hotels. I'm finally home but I was curious how long you can freeze boneless chicken thighs for? The "sell by" date was today (9/6/17). Do I even need to freeze it if I intend on eating it like this weekend? I've seen that you can freeze "fresh poultry" for a year but I'm not sure if this qualifies.
Time is of the essence but I believe if you go ahead and cook them you get a few more days of "freshness." I'd go ahead and cook them tonight and throw them in the fridge for Friday and Saturday.
Cook it now, it only takes 40 minutes in the oven, otherwise yes, freeze it
