How come the original UK version of the show is so good while the US show is just a complete pile of shit? Ramsay seems a lot more critical and antagonistic on the US show, is that part of the reason?

The American audiences are more interested in the social aspect of the show, while viewers in the UK are more interested in how Ramsey is going to fix the restaurant.
