I tried some Sinigang yesterday courtesy of my friend, it was pretty great. She recommended that we should have beer with sisig and says there's other Filipino foods better than Sinigang.
What flip foods have /ck/ tried?

Only the foods that the Flip cooks in the Navy made, I'm not sure if it was actual Filipino food or just random shit they threw together. It was usually chunks of some meat and fish with rice and a fruit like mango, I think.

Huh... The only Filipino dish I can think of with mango and meat is this. But it's pretty uncommon for the common flipman to make.
try:
kare-kare
bicol express
kaldereta
bopis

She mentioned kare kare, bicol express and kaldereta but not bopis. What's that?

pork/beef lungs and heart sautéed with onions, garlic, and chilies. it's good w/ beer too, especially if it's spicy

Looks a lot like sisig. I might try that out sometime.
Bistek is god-tier and really easy.

Why are Filipinas so thirsty for foreign men? It's sickening.
