You mean aside from apple pie? Apple upside down cake for sure! As much as I love pies, I make them a lot and sometimes you need a change of pace. Upside down cakes are my go to, especially since if you arrange your fruit just right, you don't need any frosting or decoration.

But if I ever go apple picking and have a bunch extra, I usually end up chopping them into small pieces and leaving them in a slow cooker for apple butter. I end up putting them in jars the old fashioned way and saving them for later. And the best part? The house smells amazing for days.
