What's the best kind of biscuit?

The Digestiv was really unappealing to me. Chocolate isn't very tasty nor is the biscuit good for soaking up the coffee/tea.
Aldi's speculos/biscuits with the dark chocolate squares are pretty good.
Lotus biscuits are also pretty good.

Why are they called Digestives?

Normal digestives are okay, yes a little bland, but they're better than rich tea any day of the week.

They're usually considered savory, though you can put jam, honey, syrup, etc. on them.
