Cuban cigars are mostly a meme except for some solid brands like Cohiba. There's as many fakes out there as their is real ones that get mixed up into respected distributors stocks. If you got a fake, they usually taste like shit.

I'd give it another shot because there really shouldn't be much comparison between swishers and premium cigars. You probably smoked something bad.
