WOW NO SHIT
I have concluded that there's literally nothing better in life than to have a hot, just made high quality pizza accompanied to an ice cold beer.
However this doesn't really make you appreaciate the taste of the beer itself all that much, it's more about how enjoyable the combination is overall.
So as a result i'm not that much of a beer connoisseur.
I mostly just like a fresh Peroni.
weed
Soft pretzels with bier cheese.
If not available, buffalo wings.
literally any salty, crunchy food
>>9362781
OBVIOUSLY croutons
if we talking about something non warm, it is quite common in germany to just eat something salty with it. potato chips, peanuts(flips) and the likes..

Beer and Pizza are the only reason I haven't committed suicide.
Fruity candy with beer sucks, and beer and hot wings is an awful experience.
>>9362781
Another beer
>>9363663
the texture of normal olives grosses me out. when dehydrated, it takes on a meatier, chewier quality, and i much prefer that.

or, or maybe he's just *gasp* GERMAN, you COCK
those nori seaweed crisp things from the Asian aisle are goat for drinking
Nothing. I don't want some side dish to cloud my judgement of the beer.
I've never found a better snack with beer than dried squid or octupus. The flavors compliment perfectly. Don't try it with wine though because it makes the wine taste metallic for some inexplicable reason.
I don't have a definitive food for beer since I am always pairing beer with food to my heart content.
But I'll tell you what I am going to do this night: fresh sliced bread with a touch of olive oil with mozzarella cheese, slices of pepperoni and thin slices of german sausages.
It tastes absolutely fantastic.
I am a hop head so I have it with IPA but if you're not into hoppy things a pale ale will suffice.

So a spreadable pub cheese usually extra sharp cheddar or port wine with a not-shit cracker.
Cheese curds are a viable alternative as well.
Soft pretzels are a runner up.

Came here to post this.
These were always my favourite growing up. They're nostalgic for me now.
Good beef jerky/biltong is a great drinking snack too.
