Meals you can make from mostly canned goods.

half a can of refried beans,
Half can spinach
Three slices of cheese
3 oz cubed rotissery chicken
Salsa
Sour cream
Heat it all in the microwave and wala
Better than it looks thats for sure.

What I survived on in college was a variation on succotash, shit simple.
1 can black beans
1 can corn
1 can chopped green chiles
A spoonful of whatever salsa you find in the fridge
Onion and garlic if you got em - if so sautee
Cook on the stove until heated. Not fancy but savory enough to make a couple cans into an easy meal.

OP, the big reward is the ease of poo first thing the next morning.
Now i am free to plan my day as i please with no poo demanding escape on HIS schedule and no nagging wife.
