I've been using a basic recipe for egg noodles - Flour, eggs, milk, butter, and salt. The noodles form and cook well, but the flavor is a bit lacking. Does /ck/ have any suggestions for what I can add to the noodles themselves to make them more flavorful? The only suggestions I've heard so far involve adding a shitload of butter once they are boiling.

to make egg pasta all you need to do is add 1 egg (70 g) for every 100 g of flour, and knead for 10 minutes
if you want more flavor use more yolks and less whites, or add some salt
and don't add butter or milk for christ's sake

This. Though if you really want to add flavor to the pasta itself, sundried tomatoes and spinach are common options
