He is not wrong, 95% of all "black" olives sold in Europe and presumably in the US are just green olives, dyed black with an extremely strong black food dye (iron-II-gluconate).

If you have a ton of people over, Graham Crackers and cookie dough dip is pretty good, but it's super sweet.

Can't go wrong with buffalo chicken dip and tortilla chips

If we're talking dips, hummus is my favorite. I like to do a roasted red pepper hummus.

>1 can of chickpeas
>3 tablespoons tahini
>2 tablespoons olive oil
>2 cloves of garlic
>juice of one lemon
>teaspoon salt
>2 teaspoons cumin
>2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
>2 teaspoons cilantro
>3 chunks of canned roasted red pepper

Drain chick peas, reserve liquid. Put in blender or food processor with tahini, red pepper chunks, and olive oil. Blend until smooth, adding chick pea liquid as needed to get a goopy consistency. Add spices and blend until combined. Serve with torilla or pita chips.
