Do you anons love the sweet and sticky stuff? I straight up eat this stuff and eat the honeycombs.
I love the golden goo, but is it okay to eat the comb and all? Also is it okay to eat wax, on a side note as i immediately thought of beehives with bases for the bees to work into

Judging by google, you technically can but it doesn't taste like anything.

I got to eat some honeycomb once. The honey just squeezing out of the comb was amazing, but the texture of the chewed up honeycomb reminded me of gum so I chose not to eat the whole thing.

Eating a nice chunk of honeycomb dripping with honey is one of the best experiences possible. The texture is slightly crunchy with a chew hiding behind it, so while you work down the piece of honeycomb, the honey itself melts into your mouth. Finally, every chew of the comb releases more honey into your mouth until it is all gone. You can swallow the comb or spit it out, but I prefer to eat it.
Such a shame that it is so hard to find honey with the comb in stores, not many people get to experience it nowadays.

You googled that? I find it shocking that there are adults around who have never chewed a piece of honeycomb.
Yes, OFC you can eat it. The wax has no flavor but it does have a great texture to bite into. Beeswax is indigestible so it has zero calories and you just poop it out. The honey inside would, obviously, have its normal calorie content.

Absolutely love it. I'm amazed they don't try to sell vacuum-sealed honeycomb bits to hipsters for an absurd price. My dad has two hives so I get to eat some wax+honey, it's an amazing experience.
