-Katsudon (deep fried breaded pork cutlet + rice + sauce)
-Any of many Indian, Thai, or Japanese curries with rice
-Hamburger
-Pasta with either a meat or cream based sauce
-Noodle soup with fishballs or chicken or tofu or some combination of those
-Beef, chicken, or pork stew cooked with wine, potatoes, and vegetables.
-BBQ "beer butt" chicken with cornbread
-Carne guisada (Mexican beef stew) or Charro beans with tortillas
-Quesadillas with chicken and vegetables; homemade salsa to dip
-Baked potato soup with sauteed chicken breast on the side
-Broiled chicken thigh sandwich (chicken thigh, anchovy-chipotle sauce, onion, muenster cheese, melted under the broiler)
-Pulled pork in a bun with pickles, onions, and chips on the side.
-Hot dogs, chili dogs, etc, with various toppings
-Red beans and rice, dirty rice, jambalaya
