anything can go bad before the expiration date. most grocery stores will take shit back if you complain, but when in doubt, don't use it.

Cream cheese is a moist cheese that is more prone to going bad. Toss that shit. Its too cheap to risk it.

IIRC Kraft advises using their cheeses within 7-10 days of opening
