Got any suggestions? I like lentils but my childhood experience of them was pretty much just lentil soup and maybe the occasional lentil curry type thing.

Lately i have been adding lentils to rice dishes. 1/4 cup lentils and 3/4 cup rice. I start by sauteing onion and garlic, reduce heat, add lentils (they take a lil longer to cook than rice), sweat for a bit, add rice and continue to cook as rice. Good shit.

Try lentils and rice. They have similar cooking times.
Use mediterranian spices and vegetables in any combination. Raisins are also a great addition that many people don't think of.

Lentil salads are also great. Just boil your raisins, drain them. Use lots of oil and either lemon juice or vinegar for acidity.
