What about reusing the bag clip, then putting it in the bread bin?

My bread box is not airtight enough to keep bread fresh, but keeps dogs and mice at bay, so I tuck and put in the bread box.

Twist and tuck and tying a knot should be switched. Twist and tuck is evil because it makes the bread go stale almost as quickly as just tucking (if you don't store in the freezer). Tying a knot just takes a minute to untie, but at least your bread hasn't been ruined.

That being said, there is absolutely no reason to do anything but reuse the bread clip/tie that comes with the bread. It is the most effective and it comes with the fucking loaf.

I vacuum seal individual pieces of sliced bread.

Stored in the freezer.

Why? Because then I can just pick one out and just chuck it towards the bread preparation area without crumbs going all over the place and I don't need to open a bag full of bread, extract slices and reseal it. Opening each slice is much faster just cutting the top of the plastic on a chopping board. This also lets me make instant sandwiches by freezing them with butter, ham or cheese then have them ready after 3 minutes of slow nuking while preparing coffee or tea.
