This is dinner tonight /ck.
Its basically pasta carbonara but instead of bacon fat I used evoo. Instead of bacon I used roasted vegetables. Instead of egg yolk and parmesan I used cream, flour, butter, and mozzarella to make a sauce.
I fried up the previously roasted veg and made the cream sauce while boiling noodles, then combined a ladle full of each in a frying pan to combine.
Its not really a true carbonara, obviously. Its more of a techniques demonstration of how to get to flavor town. Ooh la la.
