Where's the cake?
All I see is molded ganache
Are you an American?

...but without the raspberry puree layer, and my sister made the inner cake... idk what recipe she used, but any cake would be fine.
I picked this recipe because the mousse has gelatin in addition to chocolate. I wanted to be sure it would really freeze. I had one attempt before this with a mousse that didn't freeze up nicely. It was a disaster.
0/10, looks good
Is that cake looking at me?
stupid/10
looks neat, 90's vibes on the glaze

That glazing spill could feed three Ethiopians
Looks fucking fantastic
Gelatin makes it possibly not kosher.

Looks pretty good, op. What was it like?
>>9284002
lol I noticed it matched my Pamp' LaCroix after glazing it.

As someone already mentioned, the cake to frosting ratio is all out of whack, and I'm the kind of person who eats the icing first.
Decent looking cake though.

Back in the dark days of the Internet, when you had to actually *dial up* and wait for each page to load, we used to use (and you won't believe this) NON-ANIMATED GIF's. Just as images on a page!
Truly, it was a different time.

>What was it like?
the taste? just okay desu. I think that's mostly because of the white chocolate mousse. normal chocolate mousse would have been better. white chocolate is just never that good in larger quantities imo.
but yeah the glaze doesnt have much of a taste, and there isn't much on it... so it just comes down to the mousse and cake for flavor.

Please tell me that is not 2 inches of raw frosting.
I know people have been putting more and more frosting on cakes, well past the point I care for. But my first thought was its a mirror cake because the volume of frosting mirrors the actual cake displacement, i.e. 50% frosting.
>>9283799
Ok, I got to admit that looks neat.

read the rest of the thread homie. OP said it's mousse
>>9284270
AESTHETIC
>>9284273
look up mousse cakes. they are often 1:1 or even as high as 4:1 mousse to normal cake ratio. pic related. that's what most mirror cakes are with some shiny glaze on top.
>>9284312
I didn't read the thread that closely, and I haven't heard of a mousse cake.
I'm imagining something between a cheesecake and a meringue. It still looks good, but right now I want to eat a sponge with some sugary butter on it.
Would eat this if I saw it though.
