How do I make the crust harden so it remains steady if I pick it up by the end and wont flop around.

If you don't have a stupid pizza stone or one of these >>9281420
crank your oven up to 500 and throw your cast iron pan it in the oven to heat up with it.
Make your pizza dough, oil the bottom of your hot-as-fuck cast iron pan, and lay your pizza out in it, then add your toppings quickly while it's in the pan and return it to the oven.
This will give you a hard crispy bottom.
bake pizza crust first, then add toppings, then put it back in oven.
