But coffee in the US during the 90s was fucking horrible, so considering that the quality was so shit, combined with the fact that there's a lot of water in it compared to something like an espresso, it's not hard to see people being able tk drink it at night.

Then again, I'm a literal caffeine addict who can sleep right after taking a few caffeine pills and a /sip/ so I may be biased.
