Help me out /ck/.
All I have to cook these chicken thighs with is an electric Presto griddle. How in the fuck can I cook the chicken on this thing. I liver in a military barracks with no kitchen so this is what I had to settle for.
I have no idea what to put on the surface of the griddle to cook the chicken.
Smother the griddle in butter, spice up the chicken to taste, and cook it up
does oil not work

Cooking oil would be fine. So would butter, bacon grease, etc.
I have the 100% exact same griddle as your image.
The griddle has a slight non-stick coating, but you will need cooking oil.
Preheat the griddle to 350.
Drizzle cooking oil all over the griddle (try to rub the oil around with a spatula to make sure there are no dry spots on the griddle)
Optional: Season your chicken with salt/pepper/herbs/spices/sauce/etc.
Not optional: Slice your chicken! It will take forever to cook large pieces on the griddle evenly.
Place raw sliced chicken on griddle. Do not crowd the chicken, or it won't fry up well.
Peek underneath the meat, and flip once it looks like you got some nice golden colour on the meat.
Once you colour up the other side, poke the chicken to make sure it feels firm the entire way through.
???
Profit!
