What's your favorite way/recipe to prepare veggies? And is there a "best" way to do?
Like any legendary degenerate, I enjoy the taste of prepared veggies with some to no olive oil almost as much as junk food.

There's no "best" way. You can grill them, saute them, bake them all to perfection. It's a matter of preference and the rest of the dish.
It depends on vegetable.
I prepare most root vegetables like this:
>Peel if necessary
>Boil in salted water until half cooked
>Dry and put on an oven tray
>Toss with oil, butter, herbs and spices
>Roast in the oven until golden
I also have one thing with carrots:
>Cut thin and evenly
>Cook in a pan with oil, salt and pepper
>Wait until they're almost done
>Add honey and fresh tarragon
Bell peppers
>Sautee on a hot pan while moving until soft and some charred surface
>Add pepper
Onions
>Caramelize on pan
>Add salt and pepper
or
>Add soy sauce
>Add vinegar (red wine / balsamic)
>Add little brown sugar
>Add pepper
>Cook for a couple minutes longer
Aspargus/Broccoli
>Boil in salted water until half cooked
>Grill until little brown/charred bits appear
>Sprinkle little olive oil, salt and pepper on top
Probably the only thing I don't like, is eating raw vegetables apart from bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and maybe few other things. For example, I find raw carrot somewhat chewy and dry after munching it in my mouth for a while. There is so many ways to cook vegetables and everyone has their own preferences.
