well we can get a Close estimated brewery was started in 1824 the label says 135 years of experience so probably from the early 60's

Sounds fine to me. It's not noticeably sought after and isn't expired. I'd probably do the same thing

If it was sealed drink it, you wont get sick, and it if there was something wrong with it you would know on the first sip, the worst you get is a potential drop in quality if it was stored poorly.

I buy old bottles at auction all the time, just dont be a dick and drink opened bottles.

If it was still sealed, then it probably wasn't just a handy bottle to piss into.

If it wasn't still sealed, you never know what someone might have decided to pour into it to store the stuff for a while. Paint thinner, or whatever.

Seriously, besides sentimental value (I guess), you have a whiskey that says nothing about what age does to a drink like that. A single malt scotch, straight bourbon, or rye would be a fantastic find.
