I actually use an 80/20 mix of the two. Supposedly not too unhealthy and it has a very neutral taste.

Sunflower oil is not a meme. It's pretty common over here in the UK. Avocado oil however is just hipster bullshit.

This. Avocado oil is the most meme oil. Olive and sunflower are common. Rapeseed oil is #2 meme oil.

My personal favorite general purpose oil. Canola/chadseed always has a rancid smell when it's heated. Soybean oil smells like plastic.

Sunflower oil is a pretty good oil imho.

Sunflower oil is the default oil in my Mother Russia, when we say "oil" we mean sunflower oil. It can be virgin or filtered etc. I don't like it though
