Make mayonnaise:

Or you skip that and use some bough mayo and go to step 2.
For one serving...

This recipe is very similiar to a rice cooker version I tried out. Look up Simply Dumpling's Rice Cooker Braised Pork Belly on youtube. It's pretty good.

It actually tastes good with using beef instead of pork too.

I made coffee cookies. I've done these before, but changed up the recipe this time. Instant espresso inside with ground coffee beans (rather than just instant coffee), and an instant espresso glaze on top. Added vanilla, dark chocolate chips, and doubled the glaze.

They seem great to me, gonna give them the coworker test tomorrow.

i tried making shu mai for the first time today. flavor was similar but a bit bland. texture was way off. very crumbly. i also put too much filling in each wrapper.
i have about half the filling left over so i might try adding an egg- either in the mix or just brushed on the wrap or both, mixing it more, and adding less filling

First attempt at drömmar, Swedish dream cookies! Also the first time I've used Baker's Ammonia before, had to order it off Amazon.

The dough (pre-baking) smelled exactly like ammonia. They came out tasting like a sugar cookie, but the texture is really crazy. It's like powdery and super crisp at the same time. Melts right in your mouth--you can mash it down with your tongue and it dissolves.

I like it. Going to have to find more ammonia recipes.
