You would need to grind them to a flour consistency. Grits are a bit chunky.

Breakfast bowl. Make grits and mix in bacon with your preferred cheese to the completed grits. Bowl it and add a couple of over easy eggs on top. Couples dashes of pepper sauce and you're set.

Replace half the water the package calls for with milk. As it cooks, stir in salt and black pepper to taste. When it's almost ready, stir in a cheese of your choice. I like smoked provolone in mine. Eat with a side of bacon and eggs.
