Jimmy Johns is better but a sandwich, chips, cookie, and drink costs a ton for what you're getting. Subway has a much larger variety too so if you're looking to get something hot like a meatball sandwich you'd have to go there. JJ takes it though obviously.

They're around, but they cut back many stores.

They expanded too far too fast into markets that were already saturated. 10 years ago I had one open up in the same shopping center as a subway, and less than a mile from a jimmy johns. They were retarded as fuck with their store placements.

Because I don't want to buy cold cuts of 3 or more meats that I won't end up using but once a month at most. Also none of the grocery stores near me can get a good sub bread like JJ and I'm too fucking lazy to learn how to make bread on my own.

I eat Jimmy Johns almost every day. Typically a #4 Turkey Tom w/ sauce and hot peppers, but I do mix it up occasionally.

I can handle spicy foods, but I would say that about 15% of the time the hot peppers give me incredibly bad stomach pain/shits. Worth the gamble.
