Microwaving is actually really good for cooking a lot of vegetables. Gives a nice result without losing nearly any nutrients and is easy and quick as fuck.

This is why you'll never be a good cook. Not only do you cut corners by using steam bags in the first place, but you think that microwaving gives equally good or even better results than other methods, sacrificing flavour for ease and time.

I tried microwaving a microwave steam bag of spinach and the plastic they use melted and made my house smell like farts. Never again.

i don't allow plastic in my microwave. if I am REALLY lazy, I'll dump the vegetables in a pyrex dish with some water and microwave that way.
