What's your go-to "available anywhere" bread?
DAVES

NOT

>buying bread
>buying mass produced shit bread in a bag
Are people seriously too lazy to just bake their own or at least go to a proper bakery?
>>9241882
yes, seriously.
>eating the jewcarbs
>>9241882
I used to make bread and it's great, but it's literally not worth the time and effort. Also, I didn't want to get fat from eating so much of it because I always had a lot and it doesn't last long
>>9241833
Tortillas. I'd eat an uncooked thick flour water paste before I'd ever eat the shit in your pic.
Depends on what I'm using it for. I don't really make sandwiches, so I don't usually buy the kind of bread like you have in your pic. I eat a lot of soup/stew so I usually get rolls or an unsliced loaf, whatever kind they have at the grocery store.
Wonder bread.
>>9241833
Kwik Trip Italian bread. The best white bread you can buy with "Italian" written on the bag.
>>9241833
>What's your go-to "available anywhere" bread?
There isn't one. If it's "available anywhere" it's automatically shit-tier.
>>9241996
>Blaming your shit genes on food
I've gotten my wife pregnant 3 times with little effort & she's got serious fertility problems. I eat all the carbs.
>>9241833
Standard baguette from the nearest bakery.
If you unironically buy bread from the supermarket, just kys.
>>9241833

That shit is Whole Grain White's retarded cousin
>>9241882
>sitting around house
>getting hungry
>yeah let me just spend hours baking a loaf of bread just so i can eat a ham sandwich
rate
>>9242892
The point is that bread is a common staple, so:
>sitting around house
>getting hungry
>go grab some of that bread you baked this morning
It should be part of your standard routine, not something you'd do on a whim. Having quality bread on hand is no different than making sure you have TP in the bathroom and soap in the shower. It's that fundamental.
>>9241930
every big supermarket chain in my town bakes fresh bread
>>9241996
>bread
>literally the oldest prepared food in human history
>the near-universal diet of almost every civilization around the world
Yeah, totally a modern conspiracy to make you fat and infertile. Its the bread doing that, not you sitting on your adipose-laden ass all day munching on high fructose corn syrup.
>>9241833
Buy French bread from a local bakery or a supermarket bakery you cheap bastards. It isn't even expensive. Supermarkets sell them for 60 cents to a dollar and its a million times better than corn syrup spongy pre-sliced white bread.
>>9243402
>oldest prepared food
Absolutely not. Roasted or boiled fruits, vegetables, and grains are definitely older than bread.
>>9243455
Well no shit burning things over a fire is older. Bread is an artificial creation though. That's what I meant. You could take that argument one step further and call meat carved from the bone "the oldest prepared food" as well.
Its irrelevant because the point still stands. Bread isn't an artificial preservative or a corn syrup that was developed in the 60's. It has been around since Neanderthals were kicking around.
>>9243165
So why aren't you bleaching and pressing your own wood pulp for TP?
Surely such a fundamental part of your life should just be part of your standard routine.
>>9242132
Really? My wife and I were actually looking for a virile, fertile bull that's willing to stud.
>>9241833
I get that honey wheat and a baguette. Issue i have with baguettes is that they go hard quite quickly, so i use the honey wheat as backup until i go to the store again for more baguettes.
>>9242892
>sitting around the house
You lazyass niggah, in between your HFCS fastfood breakfast and lunch while you're watching BBC porn and shitposting on a Tyrolean Dirndl and Lederhosen sewing board you could have baked an excellent loaf with 4 ingredients - flour, water, salt and yeast, and 10 minutes of actual effort.
>>9241930
>bread is "hipster" now
Stop posting
I just eat rice
>>9241833
Baguette, or rosemary bread. I'm a fan of artisan breads.
>>9245146
He's right though. And we can all tell precisely how effeminate you are by the way you react to what normal people think about people like you.
>>9241833
I have both of these in my pantry right now. /ck/ scares me sometimes.

>go grab some of that bread you baked this morning
Fuck off retard. People have shit to do in the morning. It's not 1832, people don't live in a fucking woodshake
While you're at it, why not fucking cut down a tree and make your TP and fucking go make your soaps?
>>9241833
Gimme that 100% whole wheat
Any brand
how to make my own bread?
>>9247033
>People have shit to do in the morning
Playing with your phone toy isn't important anon.
>>why not fucking cut down a tree and make your TP and fucking go make your soaps?
Because there's no benefit to be had by doing those things, and it's an awful lot of work. Baking bread is easy and has major advantages.
>>9243165
>It should be part of your standard routine
maybe if you're a housewife/child bride in 15th century england. are you seriously suggesting the people wake up and bake a loaf of bread first thing every morning
>>9247033
Homemade bread is so much better than store bought that they're barely even the same food. It takes like an hour max to make dough and then you just let it rise and bake while you do other shit.
>>9247324
>Because there's no benefit to be had by doing those things
Except you can make it to the softness or hardness of your choosing. Wait, you cant take 5 hours to make yourself some TP?
Dave's tbqh
Dave's killer bread
>>9249943
Why don't you tell Dave that
>>9241875
MAN
>>9241833
Dave doesn't own that company anymore, the brand is owned by flours. In fact their bagels are contracted to a different bakery that makes every other bagel.
Basically Pan Bimbo owns almost all of the American bakeries and bread routes, and a lot of them are the same bread, coming from the same bakeries. The only difference is the label which Pan Bimbo has been buying out.
