If you think a flyover place like Pittsburgh is bad I recommend you avoid any actual city anywhere forever.

I've been in the restaurant business for a minute and go to Vegas and San Fran every year. I get food trends fine, doesn't mean I have to like it

Pittsburgh actually has some decent Greek and Italian American food, so there's no reason to eat garbage like OP pic when you visit.

Primanti Bros is a tourist trap, at least in the actual city of Pittsburgh. Their standalone locations outside of the city are actually really good--they have a different menu including damn fine pizza. Since Pittsburgh has a large concentration of bars (and pizza places) there is a variety of bar food to choose from, almost all of which are better than fucking sandwiches with fries on them.

As for actual dining, there are some good places such as the Meat and Potatoes/ Pork and Bean/Butcher in the Rye ownership.

Pittsburgh is full of kikes
