Back in the barracks on glakes the fucking microwave went out in the common area and I didn't know that until after I bought a hotpocket from the vending machine. I was pretty pissed that I couldn't heat it so I improvised and cooked it on my clothes iron. Tasted like starch.

We weren't allowed microwaves in the rooms in that building. My next barracks had microwaves in the rooms, but my first one only had one microwave in the whole place. It was downstairs in the room with the vending machines and pool table.

All I did was waste tax money, get injured, spend a year living in a hospital with a guy whose forehead was shot off, and a life sentence of fighting the VA.
"Terrorism" is a meme made up give give politicians a reason to bomb the middle east and feed the military industrial complex because their flawed understanding of economics leads them to believe in the "broken widow fallacy." So they just break shit over there to boost the economy over here, and they might as well line their own pockets in the mean time. All the veterans I personally know are absolutely against the US gov't's foreign policy.

Petty Officer Pidduck was shot in the back of the head by a marine during an exercise with .45 colt. He had a round scar on the back of his head about the size of a quarter and no fucking forehead. We stayed in a room on the 12th floor of the Hospital at Great Lakes IL Naval Training Center in 2000-2001. With a bunch of booters being processed out. I worked in the linen department in the basement of that hospital
