If you have access to a belt sander you can still take off the bolster, reprofile and thin the knife and put on a new bevel. But what on earth did you do with that knife? Surely it is impossible to wreak such havoc on an innocent knife with a good whetstone. Looks more like you kept raping it with a pull-through sharpener.
