g'day /ck/unts!
how do you prepare veggies/fungi?
i had a meat-free dinner tonight for the first time i can remember. grilled some mushrooms with butter and garlic, topped with feta, and they were fuckin delicious. also had some eggplant with salt and pepper, was really surprised how creamy the texture is. roasted some capsicum (peppers) under the grill (broiler), and it was pretty bland. also fried some tomato, topped with salt and pepper.
it was a bit of a trial to see if i could enjoy a veggo diet, and it was pretty delicious, but i'd like some general suggestions for cutting down on the bland factor.
TL;DR - what veg do you like to eat and how do you prepare it?
Stir-fries, curries, and soups are easy ways to flavor-up your vegetables. Plus you've got veg pizzzas and pastas. If you're not going full militant PETA vegan, you've still got eggs for protein and aminos, and you can throw those in your stir-fries and carbonara.
