Anyone that has eaten the McDonald's Strawberry Sundae has eaten bugs.
Or any other product with Artificial Dye: Carmine Red, which is made with the crushed shells of these cute scarabs.
I'd wager that +90% of the people in the world have eaten something with carmine red food dye. It's like on a third of the products we consume daily.
I eat stickers all the time.

Not in eu
Yes, mealworms and grasshoppers.
When I was in Thailand I went on a trek with my Thai friend. He brought us lunch of fried rice and chicken wrapped up in banana leaves.
He gave me this chunky red sauce to put on my chicken that was incredibly spicy, one of the spiciest things I've ever eaten, but at the same time incredibly sour making your mouth pucker up as much as a warhead. After I ate a good amount cause it went well with the chicken he told me his friend made it with crushed up beetles. I want to find the name of the sauce but I have no idea.

I had some crickets at a Oaxacan restaurant a few times. It was okay.
I've been curious about getting meal worms from a pet shop and stir frying them, anyone have experience with that?
