It can be healthy and unhealthy. Go for the grilled stuff for healthier and go fried for less healthy. It's also really easy to go overboard on carbs with all the corn and flour tortillas and rice. Good variety of vegetables though. All those peppers, tomatoes, onions, and avocados have gotta be good for you.

Corn tortillas using nixtamallized corn are much healthier than flour tortillas because they din't contain fat. The grilled meats, braises and seafoods are fine. Beans are fantastic. They use a lot of vegetables as well. It's inly when you get to all the americanized fried shit that it starts getting unhealthy. Fucking americans even fry the corn tortillas for god's sake. As long as you don't confuse "mexican" food for the abominations produced by the 12th fattest country you'll be fine.

The thing is, nutrient dense foods can be just as satisfying, if not more so. You eat a piece of fruit on a hot day and you get the potassium you crave. Have a micronutrient-free soda and you'll still be thirsty. As a mexican I can say yes it is pretty unhealthy part of the reason I was so fat back in the day, thankfully I managed to get in control of my weight.
